Thomas “Eichi” Eichstätt, coaches the FC Pio soccer team in the small town of Torgelow in eastern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Many of the young players have fled their home countries. They are struggling with finding a job, being accepted and dealing with their past. For many, Eichi is a father figure, even though he is looking back on dark times as a neo-Nazi. A documentary about what it means to build bridges and start life anew.
