Juan y Medio is a restaurant at the Panamerican Highway, south of Santiago de Chile. When its founder Juan retired in the early 1970’s his family broke apart, not only because of inheritance disputes but also due to political reasons after Pinochet came to power. Now after more than 30 years, the director, his great granddaughter born in Germany, comes back to Chile, bringing his five children together for a long overdue talk.
